Adam Durnham

Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan I have not had an easy life. When I was young my father left my mother and I. As time went on, my mother became an alcoholic and as I grew up, I suffered the same. My mother's death was a wake-up call to me and so I attended a 12-Step rehab program in order to fight my addiction. Now, I have reached a point in my recovery where I am looking to help others in the same situation as me. I do this through writing for several sites (including rehab blogs) and by working as a life coach in the city.
