After 22 years in entertainment marketing, Sheryl left her last post as VP of West Coast Sales and Marketing for Grand Play Media (Ultimate-Guitar.com), in pursuit of a career in Wellness.
Sheryl completed 1,000 hours of study to qualify for her certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. She is the staff hypnotherapist and group facilitator at Centered Health in Malibu CA, an adolescent treatment facility and has a private practice specializing in CANCER, AUTOIMMUNE DIGESTIVE CONDITIONS, CHRONIC PAIN, BRUXISM, TMJ, and ANXIETY.
At UCLA Dental School, Sheryl assists in teaching dentists how to use hypnosis for continuing education credits and teaches UCLA Integrative Medical Students hypnotic theory. She has developed and instructs a marketing series for new hypnotherapy practitioners and is a volunteer with Roze Room Hospice.
Sheryl is certified by the International Association of Medical Dental Hypnotherapists and the International Association of Counselors and Therapists. She has specialty certifications in neurobiology and psychopharmacology and holds a Master’s level certification in Therapeutic Imagery and Handwriting Analysis.
Sheryl is a nationally well-known speaker on the subject of environmental hypnosis and she blogs under the name, The Natural Somnambulist for Hypnozine.com.
